How to Seat Four

We switched out our table for 3 for a table for 4. This refurbished square table has been with me since college. It was hard to say goodbye. It has traveled from Washington, D.C. to Oberlin, Ohio, to Oakland. It has lived in 6 homes and witnessed my growth from being single to being a mom. 

  

Monterey Bay Overnight

We made a trip down to Monterey for an aquarium visit last week. Chris had the week off and Christine's still on maternity leave. Zeal had to cancel a reschedule a few meetings so he could join us.

We're still not any better at this than the first kid. Well, maybe being able to take a picture of a poop explosion is a sign of advancement.

Avery Tries Skiing!

This weekend we went to Tahoe for some winter fun. Avery got on skis and did one morning at Donner and one morning at Squaw. The magic carpet ride uphill followed by independent downhills was repeated over a dozen times. He really got the hang of it. He was crushed when we had to return the skis to the shop.

Tahoe, Little Snow

We went to Tahoe 3 weeks ago with Uncle Tommy and Auntie Lauren. 

We played in the old crunchy snow, took a hike, and did some running and trampoline jumping.
