Around Guido

Chris and I are 'project people.' We are always up to something, which is why homeownership is a good gig for us. Here are some of our recent endeavors (plus some baby shots and videos for you Avery fans).

We found two antique fruit crates to use a bedside tables. Chris painted them white (and also primed the new bee boxes while he was at it).
A nightstand in use.

A clothesline needs a strong anchor...
Here our cloth diapers are bleaching naturally in the sun.
Apples for canning from our apple tree.

A chicken tractor for moving the chickens around the yard to prime the soil for planting.

Several pounds of green beans from our garden.
Dilly beans! Chile, dill, garlic, and celery seed.

17 jars down. Onto the next green bean harvest in a few days.

Curtains for our bedroom.

Dining room turned sewing studio! Curtains, bedspread, pillows, and more.

Avery's room, now baby-proof and ready for naps.

Avery's adventures:

At Dragonfly Flower Farm in Healdsburg (the farm where our wedding flowers came from).
Backyard picnic with Basil.
Quinoa mush!
Reunited with Auntie after a long summer apart.
Redwood forest in Guerneville. Avery is disguising himself as a 'lignotuber' (a redwood burl).
