Chris's spring break in a single photo: deck chaise to stain, bee box to build, dresser to repair, and irrigation system to install.
The irrigation system spans the length of the entire yard.
The pipes had to make several turns, go under a wall and under a poured cement walkway.
Lauren, Tommy, and Michael helped dig out onion grass to make way for our lawn.
Ladybugs eat aphids, we've heard, so we invited one over.
We built the frames of our bee box ourselves. One hour. Saturday night. Baby monitor.
Ready to be added to the lower half of our hive in which the queen will lay larvae.
Next up: sod installation!

CC&A,
Gracious, Avery is getting Chunckly! Also, do you people ever stop with the home improvements? (HINT: Since I know the answer is "no," when you run out of projects at your place, you can come spend a year or so at ours, that should just about do it. We'll play with Avery.)

Seriously. You guys are a mega inspiration. We just put an offer on a house that needs more work than we want to think about. If we adopted Avery, would that make you inlaws, which would mean that you would come over on weekends and help with house projects, and generally wow us with your cool company? If so, we'll have the paperwork overnighted to you.
XO, KQ
